Most would not expect to find decent hot dishes in a golf driving range. Well, Taipei is a city of gourmets beyond your imagination.
大多數人不敢期待在高爾夫球練習場裡可以吃到像樣的熱食，但在台北這種美食之都會可能顛覆你的想像。


Good Luck restaurant is located in the middle of nowhere. Just kidding. XD
It's inside of East Lake Golf Club in the Donghu part of Neihu district, Taipei. About half an hour ride from downtown Taipei-Xinyi district. 
好運餐廳就開在台北東湖的練習場裡，說實話，很衝。住在內湖幾十年了，康樂街我還真的連聽都沒聽過。一路上的風景只有往山裡去的fu


When I first heard of this place on the internet, I wanted to pay it a visit despite the restaurant got an über tacky name. 
會知道這家餐廳當然是搜集格友的資訊而來，但也因為長期上當受騙，才會開了自己的部落格。這麼「俗」的名字，我有聯想到香港米芝林(台譯: 米其林)一星餐廳添好運，希望老天真的給我好運，找到一家可以吃得長長久久的好地方。

Arriving early enough to see the green grass in the daylight(the restaurant is open for dinner only on weekdays except for statutory holidays) 早早來，為得是能在傍晚還見到一絲球場內的綠意。為蝦米內? 老闆夠屌，餐廳週間只有晚上營業，這不是小酒館是什麼咧?

Enough showing of the restaurant. Menu is quite competitive though the price ain't friendly in terms of Taiwan standards. All dishes come in a set: corn soup, choice of fruit salad/BBQ chicken, main course, dessert and one soft drink. We ordered the cheaper Risotto with Saffron and Angus Beef and Pasta with Chinese pickles and Chicken. Some fusion flair. But the genuine risotto should be cooked with Italian risotto rice instead of Taiwanese rice. Too soft. Pasta was definitely better.
餐廳紹介夠了。好運餐點全含套餐，當然也可單點，但套餐含例湯(造訪當日來的是玉米濃湯)、頭盤: 水果沙拉或烤雞翅、主餐、茶或咖啡。
主菜:
1. 番紅花牛肉丁燉飯-牛肉煨得不錯，但是那個飯口感太軟爛，還跟我說可以跟義大利米一樣的口感。小掉漆…
2. 榨菜雞肉細麵-聽起來滿中式的創意麵，算不賴喔

Quite a feast for NT$600 per set 一套豐富的澱粉類全餐含服務費後近$600大洋

I was truly amazed by the creamy blended corn soup. It'd be perfect if the soup were hotter. Pudding was good. You could see plenty of vanilla seeds.
當晚我個人最滿意的餐點是…玉米濃湯。請看上圖最左下那張。它的玉米應該是搾汁機打碎熬煮的。如果熱度再熱一點就很棒了。布丁也還可以，吃得到香草籽。


This place sells really nice ambiance. Nice sofa music. You can sit there for hours w/o being interrupted. I'm sure it'd be more crowded over the weeknds. So if you feel like playing some golf and sit down for a meal afterwards, this restaurant might be an ideal spot.
這邊還是氣氛取勝，配上沙發音樂，適合有空閒時間的人來久坐。但想必週末球敘後聚餐廳應該會比較熱鬧。


Notes:
1. 'Good Luck' is more like a cafe/bistro given its size and selection of food.
2. Ambiance was good, but a cousin of mine who visited 2 or 3 yrs ago absolutely disliked the food. 
3. I'm willing to give it another try when I feel like golfing though I'd personally avoid their risotto.
